Durham West Arts Centre Foundation
We are a charitable organization with volunteer leadership based in Pickering, Ontario. Our mandate is to organize, plan, design, fund, contract for, and build a performing and visual arts centre in the western part of Durham Region, for the benefit of the citizens and arts community in the Durham Region. Pursuant to a resolution of the Board of the Foundation, the location of the new arts centre has been narrowed to the City of Pickering.
The Foundation is affiliated with, but separate from, the Durham West Arts Centre, Inc. That corporation provides ongoing arts programming, in aid of furthering interest and audience in the Arts even before the new arts centre comes into being.
